New National CEP President

Other Western Regional representatives also elected at national convention.

Veteran organizer and Western Region Vice-President Dave Coles was sworn in on Thursday, October 19 as CEP's fourth national president.

"I'm humbled and honoured," said Brother Coles. "I pledge to do my best and work as hard as I can for all members of CEP."

Also elected and representing the Western Region were Western Region Vice President, Don MacNeil - Administrative Vice-President Western Region, and Wendy Sol - and Administrative Vice-President Western Region, Don Boucher.

Rank and file members elected to the Executive Board for the Western Region are Angela Adams, Donna Fauchoux, Wally Evanicke, and Scott Doherty. Alternate rank and file members of the Executive Board elected for Western Region were Ivan Basco, Terry Schneider, Raymond Wade and Ingram-Johnson.

National Women Committee members elected from the West were Lara Acheson and Maria Shupenia.
